Dedicated Short Codes are 5 digits in length and are perfect for media advertisement, for example: 60075.

2-way SMS
When sending SMS text messages, you can set your Dedicated Short Code as the Sender ID. This means that the recipient will have the option to reply. Sent text messages and replies are grouped together in conversation views within the OneSixty Control Panel.
Your own Premium Rate charge
You may have read that when sending Premium Rate text messages, you cannot set the Sender ID - the short code associated with that charge will ALWAYS appear. For example, when any customer of OneSixty sends a Premium Rate text message with a charge of 12p to the recipient, the short code 60300 will ALWAYS appear.
When you own your own Dedicated Short Code you can set the charge to either one of the following amounts: 12p, 25p, 50p, £1.00, £1.50, £3.00 or £5.00. This means that when you send Premium Rate text messages, your own short code will appear.

Text messages sent to a Dedicated Short Code will usually cost the sender 1 standard network rate message. This is usually around 10p.
